PHSAD is the oldest student organization at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. PHSAD strives to create an atmosphere wherein academic and professional excellence can coincide with the interests of populations of African descent. We strive to disseminate and exchange information regarding the concerns of marginalized groups in the field of Public Health and to serve as a network and support system for educational and professional purposes. It was wonderful to come together in fellowship as the semester came to a close and to share some holiday cheer with people across the state.
