Cassie Catania believes that the human body seeks freedom of movement and has an innate and persistent capacity to heal itself. She is dedicated to providing bodywork that helps to relieve chronic tension patterns and that aids each client to function at their best ability. Her style is characterized by slow, intuitive myofascial work. Each session is tailored to fit the unique needs of each client as she draws upon her skills in deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point release, sports, Swedish, and Thai massage. She strives to provide trauma-informed care and facilitate deep levels of relaxation to bring about lasting healing. Presence and intention are at the heart of her work. Cassie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida. She discovered her passion and curiosity for movement in aerial arts, which she has been training since 2011 and also currently teaches and performs professionally. Cassie graduated from the Florida School of Massage in March 2017 and immediately started her practice as a licensed massage therapist in the chiropractic setting. She has advanced sports massage training, having interned providing treatment to collegiate athletes, and is certified in Thai massage through Bodhi Sangha School of Thai Massage. Dear clients,

Starting December 9th, I am entering the empowered time of my life that is FULL SELF-EMPLOYMENT! 🎉 I am very excited about this freedom and what it means for my goals and visions in my communities as a bodyworker and as an aerial arts performer and educator.

THANK YOU, for making this achievement possible. I feel so blessed to work with my clients and am honored to be trusted by each and every one of you. I strive to be the best that I can be, thank you for providing a space for me to hone my skills and understanding of the healing process.

This means some changes are in order:

CHANGE #1
I have expanded my availability at my massage studio.

New hours:
Tuesdays 10am-7pm
Wednesdays 10am-7pm
Thursday 2-7pm
Fridays 10am-5pm
Saturdays 11am-3pm

(Sessions already scheduled on Thursday mornings do not have to be rescheduled.)

CHANGE #2
After analyzing my overhead costs and weighing my desire to work with you, I've decided that it's time to raise my rates closer to the industry standard in our area. This is a really difficult decision - I wish so badly I could just work with you for free!

Effective January 1, 2024:

New Appointment Rates:
60 Minute- $95
90 Minute- $130

I understand that a lot of time, energy, and resources are required to take care of your body and I deeply appreciate that you trust me to help you on your journey! If my raise in rates makes it difficult to tip me, I understand if your typical tip amount decreases. I'd rather have you come in and take care of your body then not receive the care that you need due to the pressure of tipping. For those needing financial assistance in order to receive my care, sliding scale price options are available upon request.

Cassie graduated from the Florida School of Massage in March 2017. She discovered her passion for movement in aerial arts, which she has been practicing since 2011 and performs professionally. Her experience instructing this movement art inspired her to learn more about the body and pursue a career in massage therapy. She has advanced sports massage training from an internship working and traveling with University of Florida athletes. Cassie is also certified in Thai massage through the Bodhi Sangha School of Thai Massage.
