🤎Choosing the Right Doula:
Why Interviews Matter!🤎

Your birth space is yours-and you deserve to feel 100% comfortable with everyone in it! That’s why it’s so important to interview multiple doulas before making your choice.

✨ Trust Your Gut: Your doula will be by your side during one of the most transformative moments of your life. Make sure the vibes are vibing!

✨ Ask the Right Questions: Think about what’s important to you—birth philosophy, lactation education, faith, cultural alignment, experience with specific birth settings, etc.

✨ Communication is Key: If something isn’t working, don’t be afraid to speak up! A good doula will either adjust or help you find someone who’s a better fit.

Remember, you are in control of your birth team. Hire who feels right, and don’t be afraid to fire if it’s not a match this goes for providers like midwives and OBs, nurses and even family or friends you initially invited into the space
