Let’s go ahead and release this idea of “perfect,” sis.

The perfect time.
The perfect day.
The perfect opportunity.

Because if we’re being honest… chasing perfect is usually just a beautifully disguised form of staying stuck.

We wait. We overthink. We tell ourselves “soon.”
And before we know it, we’ve spent more time waiting than actually living.

Here’s the truth: perfect is always moving. What felt “just right” yesterday might not even feel the same tomorrow. So if you keep waiting for everything to line up flawlessly, you may never start at all.

But when you do start?
You begin to build. You begin to grow. You begin to see your ideas take shape right in front of you and that feeling? It’s so much better than perfect.

And let’s not ignore this part…
While you’re waiting, opportunities don’t pause. They pass.

Your nervous system’s main job is protection, not productivity.

When you’ve experienced prolonged stress, trauma, or overwhelm, your body can get stuck in survival mode; constantly scanning for danger even when you’re safe.

This can show up as anxiety, shutdown, irritability, exhaustion, or feeling disconnected.

The good news: nervous systems can heal.

With the right support, tools, and safe relationships, your body can learn to settle again.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that all the hustle and hard work are really for these small moments.

Staying in the car for one more minute, reading just one more bedtime story, or making his important phone calls 😂. They mean the world to him, yet they only take a tiny piece of my day.
