Birchwood Properties by Assisted Living LLC Adult Foster care home that offers on-site, 24-hour a day personal care with an atmosphere of compassion, dignity, understanding, integrity and respect.

We pay attention to the whole person, meeting health care needs plus desires for sociability and activity. Each individual is regarded as a very important member of the family and can be assured of receiving attentive and thoughtful care and service. An emphasis is placed on helping our residents feel comfortable and "at home." We accept adults with mild to moderate memory loss who can still function with the aid of security and supervision. Our trained staff has the skills unique to meeting the special needs of our residents with memory impairments. Assisted Living LLC provides respite care for individuals whose family or caretakers need temporary help to care for them. Our residences provide a welcoming environment for those times when families require a little extra assistance. We offer a day program or overnight stays as space permits. We are searching for reliable, passionate, team-oriented staff to provide basic resident care in a AFC/Group-Home setting. We provide full-service care to our six residents. Duties include bathing, dressing, changing linens, meal preparation, and light cleaning, as well as delivering non-acute nursing care; including medication administration to our residents under the direction of our Registered Nurse and House Manager.

We have four homes located within Ann Arbor (3) and Chelsea (1). Our homes work in 12-hour shifts from 7:00-7:00 ( 9:00-3:00 for part-time ), and we require employee availability every other weekend. We offer both full-time and part-time positions. A CNA certificate is preferred, but not required to join our team. Training last between 1-3 shifts. Our starting pay is $17/hr.
