Periodontics is a dental specialty that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth. Dentists often refer their patients to periodontists when disease is advanced. Misch, DDS, MS, both received their final training at the nearby University of Michigan.
