Public Health Student Assembly at the University of Michigan

Public Health Student Assembly (PHSA) is the student government for UM-SPH. We provide SPH students with academic and social resources.

The primary responsibilities of PHSA are to:

(1) Coordinate and promote events relevant to the SPH student body;

(2) Raise awareness of issues relevant to the SPH student body and provide the student body with a forum for addressing concerns;

(3) Distribute SPH resources to SPH-affiliated student organizations;

(4) Provide representation on appropriate SPH administrative committees;

(5) Serve as a general liaison between the student body, student organizations, and SPH; and

(6) Support SPH administration in activities relevant to the student community.

Airport Pick Up Program Reminder✈️

We hope you all are having such an amazing summer! As the school year quickly approaches, PHSA wants to remind you that we are putting on our Airport Pick Up Program. The goal of the program is to make students’ transition to the United States more seamless by providing a current student to pick up an international student upon arrival at the Detroit Airport (DTW). The forms for volunteer drivers and pick up interest sign up are both still live! You can find them on the linktree in our account bio.

Today in the Cornely Room (SPH 1 1680) from 12-2, SPH is having a Fall Cider Mill event! There will be various fun activities, along with free cider and donuts for all students. There will also be some fun fall trivia and a raffle. We hope to see you all there!
