Public Health Student Assembly at the University of Michigan

Public Health Student Assembly (PHSA) is the student government for UM-SPH. We provide SPH students with academic and social resources.

The primary responsibilities of PHSA are to:

(1) Coordinate and promote events relevant to the SPH student body;

(2) Raise awareness of issues relevant to the SPH student body and provide the student body with a forum for addressing concerns;

(3) Distribute SPH resources to SPH-affiliated student organizations;

(4) Provide representation on appropriate SPH administrative committees;

(5) Serv

e as a general liaison between the student body, student organizations, and SPH; and

(6) Support SPH administration in activities relevant to the student community.

🍁FALL EVENT TODAY🍁
Today in the Cornely Room (SPH 1 1680) from 12-2, SPH is having a Fall Cider Mill event! There will be various fun activities, along with free cider and donuts for all students. There will also be some fun fall trivia and a raffle. We hope to see you all there!

The Public Health Student Assembly’s Town Hall Survey is currently live!! PHSA organizes this town hall each semester because we want to hear for YOU! Our goal is to take the feedback that we receive from students and present our findings to SPH administration to provide our support to the SPH students.
Our in-person event will be happening on Monday October 28th from 5-7pm in SPH1 1690, and a zoom link will be available for those who cannot attend in person. Food will be provided at the in-person session as well! The links for both the Survey and Live Town Hall Sign-up are listed below. We look forward to hearing your feedback and seeing you on October 28th!

Our primary goal is to foster dialog between the school’s various departments, assist student organizations, and plan our events! Additionally, PHSA facilitates student-to-student conversations and serves as a liaison between the student body and the school’s administration, representing students’ interests and needs to foster personal and professional growth.
