The human body is remarkably efficient at deriving nutrients from the foods which we eat. There are, however, a few exceptions to this.

For instance, here in Michigan, half of the year there is not enough sunlight to make vitamin D in our skin, and the other half of the year we are protecting our skin from the sun or avoiding the heat. I was shocked when I started working with the MDVIP program at how many of my adult patients were deficient in vitamin D.

However, for most nutrients, the safest and healthiest "dose" is from the foods your grandparents and great grandparents would recognize: fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy proteins.

Patients, Friends and Family

I have talked with many of my patients about the Galleri Cancer Screening test, a blood test that can screen for cancers such as Pancreatic, Ovarian and Head/Neck tumors that do not have standard recommended screening. This test is not covered by insurance. Through our partnership with MDVIP, we normally have a discounted cost of $749 for this test. We will be having a ONE DAY Galleri Screening Draw Event on Monday, March 31st from 1-4 pm. The price for this ONE DAY event will be lowered to $699. Contact the office to schedule an appointment, Guests are welcome.
