This is a full body lymphatic drainage service with focus on the upper body, head, neck and face designed to help relieve congestion and sinus pressure.

The seasonal allergy support service includes a decadent facial/ neck and scalp lymphatic focused massage with warm compresses, reflexology and gentle activation of pressure points on the face and feet specifically targeted for sinus and allergy relief.

This treatment is equally as relaxing as it is relieving while engaging your parasympathetic nervous system as well.

I get asked often about health-promoting fast lunch options.

Well it doesn’t get much faster than this and you have a good amount of protein with sardines, yogurt, seeds and nuts, plus all the fiber, vitamins and minerals.

It takes me only 5 minutes to prepare, without any cooking, and i feel great for hours after.

For those afraid of sardines this is a great jumping off point because if you drain the sardines well (do NOT skip this step) you can’t tell the difference between them and salmon in this recipe thanks to the lemon, salt, mustard and parsley. There are so many benefits to including these fish in your diet. (I included those benefits in the last slide)

I often have this for lunch but it would make an amazing breakfast too!

🐟 Sardine salad 🐟

a tin of sardines (drained well)
a dollop of greek yogurt
a squeeze of dijon
diced onion
chopped fresh parsley
1/2 lemon
sea salt to taste
nori sheet

***For my dairy-free folks - an avocado works really well in place of the yogurt as well.

A bit of life (and food) lately.

1. chestnuts and a drizzle of honey- thank me later.
2. leftovers for breakfast
3. air-fried chicken (with collards and mac & cheese)
4. After a very long year, I’m a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner!! 🎉🎊. I will have new services coming out and lots of exciting things but i am honoring my current need of slow movement and deep wintering right now. Thanks for understanding.
5. winter sunshine any way i can get it.
6&7. yogurt, honey, camu, & matcha face masks 👯‍♀️
8. morning light still enhancing my energy and perimenopause experience.
9. coconut pho for arctic air.
10. cara cara, because i don’t remember oranges ever tasting this good when i was a kid.

Sunday mocktails on the patio. ☀️

Ok it’s not quite patio weather here right now, i actually had to take my gloves off to take this pic 🤣 and I have a winter coat on but… I’m still out here.

Tonight we are sippin on this tasty treat made with:

Hibiscus tea
Lemon juice
Venus power elixir (.seed)
coconut milk
A drizzle of honey
And aquafaba for the froth

This drink is full of flavor and of course i love the liver-loving and antioxidant rich benefits of hibiscus and the hydrating mineral boost of venus power so it is a must try.

This week’s meal prep.

I’ll admit it’s been a long while since I did more than one item for a meal prep but now that it’s monday night and i’m not scrambling to make dinner after practice, i am so happy we took a bit of time to do this.

Last night we roasted a chicken with a bunch of root veggies and onions. The chicken drippings and onions gave those veggies the most delicious caramelized flavor. 🤤Now we can use the leftovers for breakfast or lunches. Then use the bones to make a nurturing bone and mineral broth.

We made Ropa Vieja in the instant pot at the same time to be reheated with side of veggies and salad for dinner tonight.
There are enough leftovers for either a lunch or two dinners.

We have leftover black rice from Saturday night that will also be a dinner tomorrow night.

Then we made a few small things that can be added to quick meals. The sweet potato “toasts” make an easy breakfast wirh egg and avocado on top. I cooked the leftover broccoli slaw to throw in with my eggs. The beets and cut up veggies are grab and go ready for after-school snacks.

I don’t do this every week anymore, but I notice a difference in the relaxed feel of our week and in our grocery bill when i actually do it!
