About Yoga Rising
Robin founded Yoga Rising as an RYT 200 in 2014 after practicing yoga for over a decade. She completed advanced training in Yoga for Athletes (with Sage Rountree) and Hands on Assists (with Amy Ippoliti). In 2018 she earned her E-RYT 200. Clients include the University of Michigan Field Hockey team, the Toyota Corporation, Thomson Reuters, The Ann Arbor YMCA, Leslie Science & Nature Center and the Ann Arbor Rowing Club.
Robin teaches all levels of students, and her classes offer a combination of relaxation and challenge. Robin believes that suppleness and mind-body balance are an essential part of athletic pursuits, and incorporating yoga into any training plan results in fewer injuries, increased balance, and greater longevity in the sport.
Robin teaches both Hatha and Vinyasa and brings an extensive background in experiential training and Social Work, as well as a passion for designing interesting, interactive, and hands-on educational programs.
