Yes — I am still grieving the loss of my mom. And my healing may look different right now. I share this because grief doesn’t pause just because you’re a doctor, a caregiver, or the strong one for everyone else. Healing isn’t only about protocols, plans, or doing everything “right.” It’s also about who surrounds you, who holds space for you, and whether you allow yourself to be supported — even while your heart is heavy.
Grief and healing can exist at the same time. So can laughter and loss. In my work, especially with patients with cancer and those navigating recovery, I’ve learned that connection is often part of the medicine. A regulated nervous system, a sense of safety, and feeling loved all shape how the body heals.
You don’t have to rush your healing. And you don’t have to walk through it alone. Sometimes the most powerful medicine is letting yourself be loved exactly where you are.
If you’re craving support that honors the whole human — not just the diagnosis — I’m here.
