✨ Movement through every chapter of pregnancy. ✨
Prenatal and postnatal movement isn’t about “bouncing back”, it’s about tuning in. It’s about learning how to move in ways that support your core and pelvic floor, ease discomfort, and help you feel more connected to your body through each phase: pregnancy, birth, recovery, and beyond.Whether you're walking daily, taking Pilates or yoga, or simply finding a moment to breathe deeply and move gently, your body benefits from mindful, intentional movement.

You don’t have to move a certain way. You don’t need a perfect plan. Start with what feels good. Keep listening. Keep showing up.

Not sure where to start? We’re always happy to share ideas or answer questions... what’s on your mind?

Christina Violante (she/her) is a chiropractic physician that specializes in prenatal, postnatal, and pediatric conditions. She is the owner and operator of Collective Culture Health & Chiropractic which is the only minority female owned and operated chiropractic clinic in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. She is fluent in Spanish and has a passion for serving families and children. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Christina was a social worker that served foster care and refugees. Racial and gender equity in healthcare are causes near and dear to her heart.
She has had great success treating babies with issues ranging from latching difficulty, colic, torticollis, and constipation. Dr. Christina understands pregnancy, delivery, and aftercare are extremely difficult on the body and cause both short term and long term effects. Our traditional medical system has failed to provide pregnant people, especially BIPOC individuals and birth givers with the care and support they need and deserve. As your chiropractor, she is excited to provide you with treatment for back pain, neck pain, headaches, wrist pain, sciatic pain, and round ligament pain commonly experienced during the pregnancy process and everything that follows.

Nancy Boyd (she/her), PT, DPT, FAFS, CFMT, CAPP-OB, is a sports medicine, orthopedic and pelvic health trained Doctor of Physical Therapy who has invested her career in continuing to pursue advanced education in these areas in order to provide her clients with the most effective, holistic and individualized treatment approach she can. Nancy is an athlete herself, having participated in division I collegiate cross country and track. She spent the majority of her time in collegiate sports overtrained, undernourished, and injured, and is forever thankful to all of the people on her journey who taught her how to compassionately care for herself and others and started her on the path to becoming a physical therapist. Nancy has combined this background with her pelvic floor physical therapy training to specialize in perinatal sports medicine. Too often she sees birthing people deal with long standing injuries that limit their ability to keep up with their kiddos, return to the sports they love, or resume pleasurable intimacy with a partner. She wants all birthing people to know that there is so much hope, support, and healing available right now. The path forward can be an empowering one and you deserve it. Out of the office Nancy practices what she preaches and is a mother runner and mover who soaks up time with her husband, toddler, and friends at local coffee shops and out on the trails.
