My work is evolving, yet it’s the same.

I still play with tissue like it’s a texture in the earth.
I still talk to the body as if it holds a scared intelligence that supports miracles. I still make sound effects when I feel pain stuck in the body. I still call in angels, dragons, ascended masters and ancestors to do the work I’m not qualified for. I still help my clients access their intuitive gifts.

I had a silly fear massage school would make me boring and my sessions less mystical. Haha that’s far from the Truth! Massage school is just helping me connect the dots and speak the language of muggles. It’s all still energy.

Also, if you have rotator cuff issues or upper back tension please tell your massage therapist to work all sides of your scapula. It’s mind blowing to me how many people I’ve worked on in massage school with these issues who’ve never had subscap work!

Family fun celebrating Mom’s 60th trip around the sun, and her last spring break as a teacher!!!

Our family has a tradition of asking birthday questions and this year we added, “what would you tell yourself as a student teacher starting your career over?”

She stated, “preserve and protect your time with family because that’s what matters most.”

I think that’s great advice for anyone working today.

I hear most humans on their death beds don’t regret the things they did, but the opportunities they missed.

And so it is.

This past Friday my family and I buried my 91 year old Nana. She was a fiery, bold Sagittarius and a life long learner.

She went to a one-room school in a very small town in WI. Her peers didn’t believe she would move across the country to join the Navy, and she said, “watch me!”

I found her syllabus from her Anatomy class when she entered the Navy in 1953.

I’m currently listening to the lectures from my AP class I missed on Friday. The Mindful Message card that was pulled for the class said something like, “New Adventures- move through fear & follow your heart desires!” ❤️‍🔥

This past week I started massage school, and I’m thankful I can still hear her voice guiding me through the ethers as I start another adventure.

Nana, thank you for being you and being by my side always. ✨❤️‍🔥🪽

I didn’t have an iPhone is 2016, so my decade reflection was very intentional as I dusted off the Google photo album of 2016 attached to my super old email. These photos are just from Winter of 2016.

All I have to say is WOW, 26 year old Alyssa was fu***ng fearless and did not shy away from following her intuitive hits.

I see all the seeds I nourished in 2016, eventually and always provided more than I could have ever imagined.

I know all the spells I cast alone in the woods, the desert, the mountains and the lakes were heard and held with love.

Looking forward to another epic chapter called 2026 ❤️‍🔥✨🧿
