Barred Owls

Thanksgiving week is here & so are our crafts to go along with it! Ms. Kalynn and Ms. Nonnie helped our toddlers out with handprints and putting different colored paper wherever they wanted! This was a big hit for the kiddos in the Barred Owl room! Come back tomorrow to see what our Snowy Owls did for Thanksgiving!

We are ready for Thanksgiving here in the infant room! Our little turkeys made their footprints easy on Ms. Jadeyn & Ms. Bri today! We wish all our families a Happy Thanksgiving next week!

In October we highlighted the amazing UCWIB Small Business owners we have as members but there are so many wonderful small businesses right here in Union County! We know big box stores are starting some big sales today and you are probably saving up for Black Friday....BUT We ask that you really consider the "think" part of our campaign. The big box stores will not notice whether your dollars are spent with them but spending your money with the small businesses in our community will mean the world to them. The reality we don't consider is that if we don't shop with the businesses we have, we will lose them. We are so grateful and thankful for the wonderful community we live and work in and we want our small businesses to thrive! They cannot do that without your help!! Santa shops local and so can you!! As we count down to Small Business Saturday we will be posting $20 or less gift ideas to help you out!! If you come across any great gift ideas please share those in the Spend $20 on 20 Union Co., IL Facebook group!

Happy Veteran's Day from all of us at OWL CDC. The Great Horned Owl class celebrated by making patriotic windsocks and attending the Veterans' Day parade.

A friendly reminder that tonight we "fall back" one hour. While setting clocks that don't do it on their own, change your smoke detector & NOAA Weather Radio batteries too!

Halloween=Pajama Day here at OWLCDC!

We love getting to see the kids in their pjs, looking like they’re ready to snuggle up for a nap! The staff was as excited as the kids about getting to wear some pajamas!
