Through Community Integrated Living Arrangements and Home Based Services, Chamness Care provides safe, supportive environments with trained staff who are dedicated to helping each person achieve their personal goals. Families and guardians are active partners in this process, ensuring every individual has the support they need to thrive.

Please Read: It’s been a month full of celebrations at our very own MAP CDS. Today was our 4th Anniversary at Map. Map (Massac/Alaxander/Pulaski) began in the 90’s & served countless individuals until their close with the onset of the pandemic. We took a leap of faith to fill the need in this area when we purchased the building & licensened our own CDS. We have grown to serve nearly 90 individuals from more than 10 providers & many from the community. MAP employs almost 30 people now! We have plans of expansion, with 2 new classrooms in the works. We had a planning meeting with the people we serve last week & they created a list of equipment they would like to add to our gym area. (Pool table, arcade, air hockey, unicorn posters 🦄🥰 are among some of the requests.) Since opening we have already added 2 classrooms: Hogwarts, Candy Land, and Oz. We also expanded our outdoor space to add a pavilion with tables, porch swings & adaptive swings for all. Staff are currently reworking the resource library. We are excited for our next project in the gym to add more to our activity center, additional restrooms & storage areas. We recently had picture day & are planning a year book for the fall. Four years have passed so quickly & we remain “on the move” using this MAP 🗺️ as our guide! Stay tuned for progress in these latest adventures.

As we wrap up DSP week, us at Chamness Care just want to give one more shout out to our front line team. It was so fun for so many to hang with us yesterday at the office over a cup of coffee (or iced mocha 😉) Everyone moving in the same direction to make the lives of those we serve is a powerful thing. 💪🏼We truly have some of the very best employees, their skill & compassion is unmatched! 💋💋💋❤️❤️❤️ Chamness Care Rocks! 👊🏻💥
