Our residents had a blast in this month’s Sip & Paint class, where we let creativity flow and celebrated July—National Watermelon Month—with some juicy inspiration on canvas! From bold brushstrokes to proud smiles, our watermelon paintings were full of personality, color, and summertime joy.

Yesterday was full of smiles, laughs, and a little friendly competition during our very own Friendly Feud game, our take on the classic Family Feud! Residents had a blast answering fun survey questions and racking up points with their teams! 🏆

Then we unleashed our creativity with a tie-dye session during Creative Expression! Each resident designed a one-of-a-kind shirt, adding their personal flair and favorite colors.

These engaging activities aren’t just fun, they’re powerful tools that support cognitive health, social connection, and self-expression, all essential for those living with dementia.

Last week’s Patriotic BBQ Social was a red, white, and full-of-fun kind of day!

Residents and families gathered for a heartwarming celebration filled with laughter, delicious bites, and plenty of patriotic pride.

Huge shoutout to our amazing Dietary Team for serving up greatness and dazzling us all with that jaw-dropping Watermelon Tower Star Cake—a true fruit masterpiece! 🍉⭐️

Thank you to our Maintenance Director for grilling up the delicious foods as well!

And of course, cheers to our incredible Life Enrichment Team and our wonderful community for coming together to make this event so special. There’s nothing like celebrating togetherness the patriotic way! 🎉🇺🇸

This past week, our residents enjoyed a visit to the National Museum of the United States Army and what made it even more special was bringing along some of our very own Army veterans. It was the perfect outing leading up to Independence Day, as we reflected on the history, courage, and service that helped shape our country.
