If you’re wondering whether exercise can curb your appetite, a new study says intensity matters—especially for women.
New research on exercise and hunger control 🏋️‍♀️

If you’re looking for ways to manage hunger and food cravings, you’ll want to know about this new study from the University of Virginia that showed 👉 High-intensity exercise suppresses levels of the hunger hormone ghrelin more effectively than moderate exercise.

Here’s what they found:

➡️ High-Intensity Exercise
After high-intensity workouts, participants had significantly lower ghrelin levels and reduced hunger. The effect was more pronounced in women, with lower levels of acylated ghrelin, which is directly linked to hunger.

➡️ Moderate-Intensity Exercise
Moderate-intensity exercise didn’t have the same impact on ghrelin levels, and participants even reported slightly higher hunger than with no exercise.

What if there were supplements that could support healthy immune function through the winter season?

3 Supplements to Consider for Immune Support

But first to be clear:

“Seasonal support” supplements are meant to strengthen immune function over weeks or months—not to be confused with “temporary support” products, which are best taken when you’re already feeling unwell.

Here they are!
1️⃣ Reishi
Reishi is a medicinal mushroom, traditionally used as an adaptogen to support stress resilience. It is rich in beta-glucans, which modulate immune function over time. Powdered reishi can be mixed into coffee or brewed as tea.

2️⃣ Probiotics
Since 70%-80% of the body’s immune cells reside in the gut, a healthy gut microbiome is essential for supporting immune defenses. Probiotics can be consumed as supplements or in fermented foods.

3️⃣ Vitamin D

Not to be dramatic, but the truth is that sugar spikes cause a biochemical process called glycation…and the production of advanced glycation end products (AGEs).

Turns out that AGEs play a big role in skin aging.

They accumulate in the skin, compromise collagen, and contribute to fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin 😩

Sure, glycation is a natural process that increases with age anyway, but diets that are high in sugar or refined carbs without a balance of healthy fats, fiber, and protein accelerate the process.
