This patient came to us through a patient referral after hearing we perform upper eyelid lifts under local anesthesia.

Her main concern was heavy upper eyelids that made her look more tired than she felt. Together, we decided on an upper blepharoplasty paired with CO2 laser resurfacing to not only lift the lids, but also improve overall skin texture, tone, and brightness.

One of the biggest wins? Everything was done in-office with light sedation, minimal downtime, and an easy recovery.

The result is subtle but powerful… she still looks like herself, just more awake, refreshed, and confident!

Ptosis is when the upper eyelid muscle weakens and the lid actually drops lower than normal. Heavy eyelids, on the other hand, come from excess skin or fullness weighing the lid down. They may look similar, but the cause (and treatment!) is different.
