Happy Birthday to Kian Djawdan — my husband, my partner, and someone I deeply admire.

Kian isn’t one for the spotlight.
He leads with quiet confidence, steady focus, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right — not for recognition, but because it matters.

His care runs deep. His standards are high. And the way he shows up — for his patients, his team, our family, and his work — says everything about who he is.

Today marks 59 rotations around the sun since 1966 — and somehow, it doesn’t feel that long. Maybe because there’s still so much ahead. So much to look forward to.

Kian, I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built together and for the person you are.
You are deeply appreciated. You are deeply loved.

🕊️ In Loving Memory: Dr. Mehdi Djawdan 🕊️

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Kian Djawdan’s beloved father, Dr. Mehdi Djawdan, a pioneering neurosurgeon who dedicated his life to healing others. He passed peacefully this evening around 9 p.m.

Dr. Mehdi Djawdan lived a remarkable and impactful life. After leaving Iran to pursue advanced specialty training in Germany, he returned home with a mission — to bring neurosurgery to Iran and share his knowledge with his colleagues in Isfahan. He was a true trailblazer — a compassionate physician, a generous mentor, and a devoted father.

Those who had the honor of knowing him will remember his kindness, brilliance, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, and in the love he poured into his family.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Djawdan and his family during this time of loss. He will be deeply missed, and always remembered.
