This year, National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is one week from tomorrow on Saturday, April 2025. This government program helps individuals and pharmacies properly dispose of medications, including opiates and controlled substances, to minimize harm to the community and environment.

Prepare for National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day by:

- Consulting the DEA website or your local pharmacy to find take-back events or authorized collection sites.
- Referring to the FDA's recommended disposal steps for safely mixing medications in with household trash.

Bank’s Apothecary was founded in 1972 at the corner of Broad and Olney in inner city Philadelphia serving the local community. Throughout the last 40 years we have grown, specialized, and became larger, but we haven’t forgotten where we came from. Today, Bank’s Apothecary is based in the suburbs of Philadelphia and deals with patients of all colors and stripes. Bank’s Apothecary is made up of a diverse community of employees, vendors, clinicians and patient care advocates.
