Many adults go years without knowing they have ADHD, masking symptoms with overwork, shame, or self-criticism.
You might notice:
• Burnout from trying to stay organized
• Anxiety from missed deadlines
• Shame around feeling “inconsistent”
• Relationship tension due to forgetfulness or zoning out
Getting an accurate diagnosis is important and should not be taken lightly.. It’s about understanding how your brain works and learning how to work with it.

🚩 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐫𝐞. 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭.
Sometimes kids need a safe space outside the family to talk through what they are feeling.
If you notice:
1️⃣ They’ve withdrawn from friends or activities they used to enjoy
2️⃣ Big changes in mood, sleep, or appetite
3️⃣ Frequent talk about worries, fears, or feeling “stuck”
4️⃣ Trouble managing school or daily responsibilities

…a mental health professional can help them build coping skills, confidence, and a healthy outlet for their emotions.

Seeking help is a sign of strength for both kids and parents.

Sending your child to college? Let’s talk about the emotional impact on parents:
• Grief and Loss: Even though it's a positive milestone, many parents feel a deep sense of loss as the daily routines and physical presence of their child change. This is sometimes referred to as “empty nest syndrome.”
• Pride and Joy: Alongside sadness, there’s often a strong sense of pride in their child’s independence and accomplishments, mixed with joy in seeing them take this next step.
• Anxiety and Worry: Parents may feel anxious about their child’s safety, well-being, and ability to cope with new responsibilities, especially if it's their first time living away from home.
