Looking for something educational and fun to do with your preschool-age kids tomorrow (7/24)? Join Annapolis Pediatrics at the Crofton library for a special Taste the Rainbow program at 10AM and 11AM (taking place of preschool story time this day)

During the event, we'll learn about healthy foods, play games and taste fresh seasonal fruits and veggies!

No registration is required. This event is free.

Summer provides a variety of ways to learn - in new places, outdoors, around town and completely differently than kids are learning during the school year - still with lots of learning benefits!

There is some controversy over how much of an impact the summer break has on the academic skills of children, however there is evidence that kids benefit from just 15-30 minutes per day of learning or reading over the summer.

Join us for an interactive event to learn about fruits and vegetables! See, smell, touch and TASTE different colorful fruits and vegetables during the event. You might just leave with a new favorite healthy snack!

Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
*This is in place of regular Preschool Storytime.
