🚨 Have you or a loved one lost vision after taking Ozempic or Wegovy?
You’re not alone — and there may be help.

Some patients using these medications have reported sudden vision loss due to a rare condition called NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy). It's painless… but can be permanent.

At Low Vision Specialists of Maryland & Virginia, we specialize in helping patients who’ve been told there’s nothing more that can be done.
🔍 Our custom-designed low vision glasses are made with advanced optics like:
✔️ Telescopic lenses
✔️ Microscopic lenses
✔️ NeuroVision field-enhancing lenses
✔️ Glare-reducing filters

Over 90% of our patients see meaningful improvement in daily function — even after being told by other doctors there were “no more options.”

✨ There is hope.

We are honored to have had the opportunity to contribute to the Maryland Department of Disabilities Assistive Technology Program. Our team at Low Vision Specialists of Maryland and Virginia recently donated a range of advanced blind and low vision aids to the High-Tech Assistive Technology Reuse Center. These devices are designed to enhance the independence and quality of life for Marylanders with disabilities.

This donation represents our ongoing commitment to supporting our community and ensuring that essential assistive technology is accessible to those in need. We are grateful to the Maryland Assistive Technology Program for their incredible work and dedication to this cause.

We believe that together, we can make a significant impact and create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all. Thank you to everyone involved in this initiative for their hard work and collaboration.
