2025 marks my 13th year of practicing Yoga, and 8th year of teaching.
I’ve been reflecting on how deeply this practice has impacted the entirety of my life, and how the study of Yoga philosophy has helped me navigate the complex situations.
The eight limbs of yoga: Yama (ethical guidelines), Niyama (personal observances), Asana (physical postures), Pranayama (energy guidance), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (enlightenment), are an incredible road map for contemplation and embodiment of an authentic human experience.
With every passing year, I feel closer and closer to the essence of my true nature. Forever grateful, and always a student 🙏
