EQIP engages practitioners who treat Maryland Medicare beneficiaries in care transformation and value-based payment through an episode-based approach. Through EQIP, practitioners have increased participation in Advanced Alternative Payment Models (APM) within the State and aligned with hospitals under the TCOC Model. In Performance Year 2 (Calendar Year 2023), EQIP generated $36.7 million in positive savings.
