• Motor planning: climbing on/off suspended equipment, hanging and crashing into the Boundex, and climbing up the roller slide to practice planning and sequencing movements
• Sensory input: lots of movement, crashing, and deep pressure to support regulation, body awareness and engagement

These cinnamon ornaments were a HUGE hit this week. Great for fine motor skills, sensory exploration, and executive functioning. Plus they smelled amazing! 🎄

Supplies needed:
✨ 3/4 cup apple sauce
✨ 2 bottles (2.37oz each) of cinnamon
✨ cookie cutters
✨ drinking straw
✨ ribbon (color of your choice)

Instructions:

Mix applesauce and cinnamon into a smooth dough. Roll on flat surface or between 2 sheets of plastic wrap (makes transferring easier) to about 1/4–1/3 inch thick. Cut shapes, poke a hole for hanging, place on a baking sheet/plate and bake or let air dry 1-2 days.
