Anchored Hope is offering a 2-part virtual workshop for parents of children between the ages of 2-7 who are exhibiting challenging behaviors.
Parents will be provided with information on what to do and what not to do to help their child calm down safely, improve attention and focus, and learn to cooperate.
Strategies will teach parents how to strengthen the quality of the relationship you have with their child. Tips for problem-solving common parent struggles will be addressed.
Week 1: Wednesday, July 13th from 5-6:30 pm
Week 2: Wednesday, July 20th from 5-6:30 pm
About the presenters:
Christine Coyle, LCSW-C is one of the owners of Anchored Hope Therapy, LLC. One of Christine’s passions in her work is supporting parents with children who present with challenging behaviors. In 2019, Christine was trained to provide Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and in 2020, she completed the certification process through PCIT, International. Christine also is experienced in several other evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches that inform her work with clients across the lifespan.
Rebecca Behnke, LCSW-C has been with Anchored Hope since March 2022. Prior to private practice work, Rebecca worked with children and families helping them navigate challenges of interacting with systems that are designed to protect but often retraumatize. She enjoys working with children, teens, and families doing attachment focused therapy as well as trauma centered work. Rebecca competed her PCIT training in June 2022 and is currently in the process of certification through PCIT, International.
