Got vaccinated against COVID-19 yesterday. I don’t even feel pain at the injection site, and no other symptoms. I definitely encourage all to get the vaccine as soon as they can. Let’s stamp out this disease. Merry Christmas/Happy holidays and Happy New Year to all. 🙏🏻❤️🎄🦠😷

Would it bother you to give a credit card number to reserve your upcoming consultation with me? Have been struggling with this. I get it that you don’t want to give your cc info to “a stranger“, but you called us, not the other way around. Our computers are HIPAA compliant to protect your privacy.

We do already charge for consultation appointments (taken off the surgical fee if you book a procedure done under general anesthesia). Some docs do not charge for consultations, and that is their choice. I value your time, and hope you do the same.

Why do this? No shows. If you don’t care enough to cancel your appointment (emergencies of course are excused, just call!) you have deprived another person of the chance to have a consultation, or a procedure. There are only so many hours in the day, so no one wants to waste their time.

Happy to hear constructive comments. No haters or trolls please.

Effective May 1, 2016, I merged my plastic surgery practice with an amazing practice, Annapolis Ear, Nose and Throat, Allergy and Audiology and their partner group, Annapolis Facial Plastic Surgery. We re-branded the latter ANNAPOLIS PLASTIC SURGERY, to reflect that between the Facial Plastic Surgery talents of Dr. Bryan Ambro and my head to toe cosmetic and reconstructive training and experience, we now offer a comprehensive plastic surgery practice. Exciting news!!

Effective May 1, 2016 Dr. Chappell/Annapolis Plastic Surgery will be joining Annapolis ENT/Annapolis Facial Plastic Surgery and moving to their location in the Sajak Pavilion near Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

Dr. Chappell will be joining the group on their "cosmetic side," and specifically will be teaming up with Dr.Bryan Ambro, a facial plastic surgeon. They will offer their combined services under the name of:

Annapolis Plastic Surgery

(Funny, no name change!) as an entity of Annapolis Ear, Nose, Throat & Allergy Associates (Drs. Heacock, Pardo, Som, Hillburn, Overstreet, and King).

Kris Lawrence, Dr. Chappell's esteemed aesthetician, will be joining him in this move. She will start seeing patients exclusively at the Sajak address starting April 11, 2016.

And don't worry, Jodi Chapin, RN, and Lee Ann Berman, RN, will make the move as well.

Dr. Chappell will continue to provide everything Dr. Chappell normally does (breast implants/reductions/lifts/reconstruction, tummy tucks, liposuction, facial rejuvenation, reconstruction after cancer surgery or burns/trauma, as well as:

Coolsculpting, Injectables, and Lasers.

The added bonus in joining up with Dr. Bryan Ambro, who is double board certified in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology – HNS, and who specializes in rhinoplasty ("nose jobs") and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, is that patients will be able to have a "one stop shopping" experience for any cosmetic or reconstructive need literally from head to toe. This new team offers EXPERIENCED, REPUTABLE and COMPREHENSIVE plastic surgery.

Awesome meeting of Maryland Society of Plastic Surgeons this morning in beautiful downtown Annapolis. Thanks to Dr. Louis Strock for an insightful set of lectures on breast augmentation and breast ptosis. He has an amazing breadth and depth of knowledge and it was kind of him to share it with colleagues and Johns Hopkins plastic surgery residents. Thanks to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for loaning us one of their incredible traveling professors.
