Today, on Earth Day, we’re reflecting on something that’s quietly woven into who we are.

Our name was inspired, in part, by a brook. It is steady, flowing, always moving forward. A small but meaningful reminder that change is constant and growth does not have to be rushed to be real. It also comes from our owner, Brooklyn. The name stuck because it felt simple and honest, and that is what we try to be in this space.

Nature has a way of grounding us in that same rhythm. The fresh air, the movement, the stillness all invite us to slow down, reset, and reconnect.

If you can today, step outside, even if it is just for a few minutes. Let yourself pause, breathe, and notice what is around you. Small moments like that can shift more than we realize.

Starting over doesn’t mean you failed, it means you’re listening to yourself. It means you’re choosing growth, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Whether it’s a new habit, a hard conversation, or simply getting out of bed today, that counts. Small steps are still forward.

You have the courage to begin again. And you don’t have to do it perfectly, just honestly.

Yall! These women are rockstars and care so deeply for the people we serve. I'm so grateful to work with them everyday. We are all very different but share the same goal. Our differences keep things interesting (and hilarious) around here!
