Important Notice Regarding Phone Scams and Spoofed Calls
Highland Health Systems (HHS) has been made aware that some individuals may receive calls that appear to come from our phone numbers. In many cases, these calls are the result of “caller ID spoofing,” where scammers or automated robocall systems falsely display a legitimate phone number to make the call appear trustworthy.
Please be aware that these calls are not from Highland Health Systems, and unfortunately, we have no ability to control or stop scammers from using our number in this way.
To protect yourself, please remember:
HHS will never call you to request payment, banking information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal information over the phone.
HHS will not demand immediate payment or threaten legal action during a phone call.
If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be from HHS, do not provide any personal or financial information.
If you are unsure whether a call from HHS is legitimate, please hang up and call our main office directly using the phone number listed on our official website.
We encourage anyone who believes they have been targeted by a phone scam to report it to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at www.reportfraud.ftc.gov.
Highland Health Systems remains committed to protecting the privacy and security of the individuals we serve.
English Due to the government shutdown, we are unable to offer this website service. We will resume normal operations when the government is funded.
