Happy New Year's Eve! 2018 is fast approaching. I get excited about each New Year because I expect every year to be better than the past year. I expect more wisdom, more intimacy with God, more oneness in my marriage, my kids to truly desire God and to be more mature, and then more money, creative interventions for the clients I serve. This year is no different. I have the same expectations . The difference is I have a revelation and everything I desire for 2018 is in my grasp, but only if I choose to change and not wait on God, my husband or kids. God has given us everything we need, and desire if we delight ourselves in Him. Yes, money too. Joshua 1:8 says not to let the word depart from us and to meditate on His word day and night and WE will make OUR way prosperous and have good success. The nugget for the first week in 2018 is don't expect your marriage or spouse or even your life to change, if you are not willing to change first. Pray, seek Him, study His word, and let God change you. This is my prayer: Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord. Renew in me a right spirit. Reveal me to myself. Show me the areas in my life where I lack wisdom, need deliverance, hold unforgiveness, lack discipline, and maturity. Heal me and cover me as I walk this journey of discovery and deliverance. I love you Father, in Jesus' name.
