This certification comes after successful completion of Bruno Independent Living Aids and Ram Manufacturing’s certification exam. I install straight rail and custom made stairlifts and both interior and exterior vertical platform lifts. We also install wheelchair lifts in and on vans, pickup trucks, SUVs, crossovers, cars and even motor homes. I am approved by The Veterans Administration and Alaba
ma Department of Rehabilitation for wheelchair repairs, wheelchair lift installations, stairlift and vertical platform lift installations. I am a repair dealer for Merits Mobility, Pride Mobility, Rascal Mobility (formerly Electric Mobility), Golden Technologies, and a field service technician for Pride Mobility. I can order parts and provide repairs on these products. I also replace batteries, tires, and wheels on all brands of wheelchairs, powerchairs and electric scooters. I enjoy helping our customers improve their lives by being able to stay in their own homes instead of having to move in with relatives or to an assisted living facility when their physical limitations no longer allow them to go up and down stairs. Many studies have shown that people do much better when they are allowed to stay in familiar surroundings. People with full mobility often don’t appreciate their freedom to go shopping, to worship or to participate in their community.
