We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion Nurse - to join our healthcare team!!
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with a focus on IV infusion therapy and patient care. This role requires excellent clinical judgment, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in various settings.
Duties:
Administer IV infusions, Intramuscular injections, Subcutaneous injections, and monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
Utilize EMR systems for patient records management, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Schedule/Reschedule Infusion Clinic Appointments
Complete Prior Authorizations/Pe-certifications needed for medication administration
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Experience with IV insertion and administration of medications.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as AllScripts is preferred
BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
Previous experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating strong independent decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time (Monday thru Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1pm)
