As the week winds down, the weekend is a good opportunity to reset—physically and mentally.
Use this time to step out of constant “doing” and reduce some of the stress your body and mind carry through the week. Even small changes can help the nervous system settle and make the next week feel more manageable.
A few simple ways to reduce physical and mental stress this weekend:
• Slow your pace and allow extra time between activities
• Take a walk or move gently without tracking or goals
• Step away from screens for part of the day
• Improve your sleep routine by going to bed a little earlier
• Write things down—what feels stressful, what’s working, and what you want to adjust
• Plan small, realistic steps for the week ahead
A reset doesn’t require perfection.
It starts with awareness, intention, and giving your body space to recover.
Give your body time to catch up.
