I have been focusing on getting stronger physically. Meanwhile temptation lurks but I've learned to stay focused. Much of it has to do with attending weekly church.

This is just part of life. I know, when things go wrong and you must make the most of what you have. Even in sobriety there are unexpected hurtles that in the past would cause one to seek solace in picking up the drug of choice. That would only be a temporary distraction.

When I was using, I didn't pay much attention to the world's problems. Now that I I'm awake I can be more sensitive to the news and world events. At times it seems disheartening. But it is a reality and I'm all for that.
