November is the season of thankfulness, and our residents had the fantastic idea to set up a Thankful Tree in our community. Residents and family can take a leaf to write down what they are grateful for in their lives and add it to the tree.

We're excited to see how many leaves we can add to our Thankful Tree this year! 🌳🍂

Trick-or-treat! 🍬🍭 We had a great visit today from the preschool class at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. They gave out candy to our residents, sang songs and got some candy from our residents as well.

This week Benedictine Living Community-Anoka was honored to host a Benedictine Resident Aide Preceptor training course! RA Preceptors receive additional training to become leaders in our community. Once they complete this course, Preceptors help train new associates, providing necessary on-the-job skills for new RAs learning to care for residents.

We hosted several RAs from our sister communities in addition to five of our own associates. We're glad to support our team members as they grow and learn in our community!

It's Spiritual Care Week, and we want to honor all the people who provide amazing spiritual care in our community! Our Spiritual Care Coordinator, Suzanne H., put together a delicious breakfast for the leaders that partner with our community, catered by our own Benedictine Anoka chefs.

The staff and volunteers that come to our building for spiritual care ensure our residents have access to these services right in our building. We have both streaming and in-person religious services, in-person Communion, Bible studies, video series and more. The churches we work with include St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Mount Olive, Riverdale Church and Blessed Hope Baptist Church. Thank you to all of our partners for everything you do!

From managing chronic lung conditions like asthma and COPD to providing life-saving care in critical situations, their work is essential to health and recovery. As part of our collaborative rehab team, we honor all professionals who work side by side to support healing and well-being. Together, they make a lasting difference for those we serve.

Happy Boss's Day! Today, we honored our Campus Administrator, Tanya W., with her favorite Anoka treat, smoked ribs from Anoka Meat & Sausage.

Tanya is a dedicated and passionate leader who cares for each member of our community. She works diligently to create a caring home for our residents. Her leadership supports and empowers our staff to perform the best job possible, and she isn't afraid to step in and help out with even the most menial tasks.
