Meet Deb Torres, one of our outpatient telehealth counselors.

Deb is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor with nearly 15 years of experience supporting individuals across all stages of recovery. Her work spans outpatient care, detox, adolescent services, and correctional settings, giving her a deep understanding of the real-world challenges people face when seeking change.

Deb brings a warm, compassionate, and client-centered approach to every session. She meets people where they are, works collaboratively on individualized treatment plans, and helps clients better understand how addiction impacts thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. With a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Deb supports clients in building healthier coping strategies and sustainable change.

We are proud to have Deb on our team.

The holidays can be meaningful, but they can also be overwhelming.
If you're in recovery or supporting someone who is, having a plan can make a difference.

• Who you can call if needed
• An exit strategy if a situation becomes too much
• Grounding tools to help you reset in the moment
• Permission to protect your peace without guilt

You don't have to navigate the season perfectly, but you should navigate it safely.

Gentle reminder for anyone on a recovery journey: slips, cravings, and hard days can happen. They do not erase progress or define the work you are doing. Growth is often uneven, and support matters most on the hard days. You're not alone.

Noticing what tends to affect you most can help you prepare, set boundaries, and reach out for support sooner. Awareness matters, especially during a season that asks a lot of us.

The holidays can bring a lot of pressure, and it’s easy to feel pulled in every direction. Setting limits isn’t selfish. It’s a healthy way to protect your peace.

If guilt shows up when you say no, remind yourself that you’re choosing balance and wellbeing. Small boundaries can make the season feel lighter.
