Residents enjoyed the 1st Annual Country Living Derby hosted by the Anthony United Methodist Church on May 4. Barbara’s horse Sammy won the “run for the roses.” Joann’s fine filly Phantom Flyer, Pat’s pony Patreeka and Cleo’s swift steed Brownie won the preliminary races. Mint juleps, tea, lemonade and lots of laughter were part of the fun.
