Today, we take a moment to recognize and celebrate the brave men and women who have served our country with courage, honor, and selflessness. Veterans Day reminds us of the sacrifices made to protect our freedoms and the importance of expressing gratitude to those who have served.

Joyce’s Journey to Recovery at Eastview

After experiencing a stroke that impacted her mobility, self-care, and swallowing, Joyce came to Eastview determined to regain her independence. Through hard work and a positive attitude, she’s now walking with a walker, completing her daily tasks independently, and continuing therapy as she transitions to using a cane.

Her sense of humor keeps everyone smiling, and with her progress, she’s getting closer every day to her favorite goal: enjoying bacon for breakfast again!
