Honoring Black History Month & A Queen’s Birthday with Purpose

As we celebrate Black History Month and honor a Queen’s Birthday, I am choosing to give back in a meaningful way. This season represents legacy, service, and intentional investment in our future.

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This day is more than a holiday—it is a moment to reflect, remember, and educate. Dr. King’s life and legacy remind us of the power of courage, unity, and nonviolent leadership in the fight for justice and equality.

Let us take intentional time today to teach our children why this day matters. Knowing our history is essential so that we do not repeat its injustices and so we can continue building a future grounded in respect, opportunity, and love for one another.

🌟 Hott Rodds Doggie Vacay – Summer Youth Program 🌟

This summer, Hott Rodds Doggie Vacay is opening its doors to at least five school-aged children for a unique and inspiring experience. Our mission is to empower the next generation with real-world skills while giving them hands-on opportunities to learn and grow.

📚 What the Children Will Learn
- Business Tips & Entrepreneurship – Understanding how to start and manage a small business.
- Financial Literacy – Building smart money habits and learning the basics of saving, budgeting, and investing.
- Pet Daycare Operations – Hands-on training in caring for pets, managing schedules, and running a daycare facility.

This program is designed to spark creativity, responsibility, and confidence in young minds while connecting them to the joy of working with animals.

🤝 Community Support Needed
To make this program a success, we are asking for community donations. Contributions don’t have to be monetary—supplies and resources are equally valuable.

Examples of helpful donations include:
- Pet care supplies (toys, leashes, grooming tools, cleaning products)

This is my truth.
When I had my son, I poured my entire heart into him—and into my love for children and people. I’ve always believed in drawing out the best in others, helping them discover their purpose, teaching life skills, and being a role model they can trust. I do my best to educate, uplift, and guide them through a world that often feels indifferent to their struggles.

This is an emotional moment for me, but I’m sharing it because I know I’m not alone. If you’re someone who gives your all to others, especially the next generation, I see you. Keep going. Your impact matters.

🌟 Tonight, We Shine the Light on Roddarous Bond 🌟
In honor of my son’s birthday, we came together as a community to celebrate his life and raise awareness through the Stop Drop That Fentanyl Campaign. This evening was filled with love, healing, and purpose — a powerful reminder that his light continues to shine through all of us. My heart is full.

🕯️ We also took time to talk about the stages of grief — denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. It was a sacred space for healing, reflection, and unity. Grief is a journey, and tonight we walked it together, hand in hand.
