Each February, the OU College of Dentistry opens its doors for Kids Day, providing free dental care for children ages 4–12 in celebration of Children’s Oral Health Month! This special one-day clinic helps address urgent dental needs while creating positive, confidence-building first experiences at the dentist, especially for children who may not otherwise have access to care.

I've been truly blessed with the privilege of serving patients and partnering with the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, providing transformative dental care across the great state of Oklahoma, with this year's event shining brightly in Enid. I'm also deeply grateful to collaborate with an extraordinary team not only at this event, but every day at Antlers Family Dentist, PC. Over the years, many of our team members have generously given their time, joining me on this journey to lend their expertise as assistants, interpreters, radiographers, hygienists, and sterilization specialists. This labor of love is profoundly challenging, yet infinitely rewarding. We devote three days away from our office and loved ones, and I'm humbled to express my heartfelt gratitude to this year's remarkable group. Their unwavering dedication, boundless compassion, and kindness are the bedrock of this mission's success. My heart is overflowing with appreciation, love, pride, and respect for each and every one of them. A special tribute also goes to Dr. Chris Fagan and Lynn Means, along with the entire ODA team, for their tireless efforts that have made this event possible. Huge shout out to the OUCOD pediatric residents, dental and hygiene students and faculty this event would not be possible without you. Dean Mullasseril encouragement, guidance and commitment continues to amaze as they are training the best!
