5/6/26 update
So last update I sent out I said it was going to be the last one for awhile so here’s the newest one. Trach surgery was last Friday and went smoothly. It has been rough since then with his pain and just trying to figure out a medication level but I think we got it now. Today was first trach change which put big things into motion like classes for us as a family dealing with a trach, therapy in Plano tx, etc. his trach will take a couple more weeks to completely heal and they have to get him off the hospital ventilator first and onto a basic home ventilator to travel and just get used too it for going home. Also medications! They wanna get him off medications once the trach heals so we can go to Plano and start physical work! So with that… a few more weeks here in Dallas then a new journey in Plano. Bubba is stable, he’s safe, he’s healing and comfortable and fighting off everyone he can because he’s that stubborn lol. He’s pushing through for sure. And again, he still can’t move his arms or legs but that’s what Plano is for and hopefully regain his voice very soon. Thank you to the friends/ family and community for taking care of us mentally, spiritually and financially while being here. ❤️ will probably send out a new update right before the big move to Plano.
