What is coronavirus? What are the symptoms?
Tips to avoid illness:

1. Wash hands frequently.
2. Avoid overly-crowded places.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
4. Use or bring your own pen.
5. Be mindful of door handles/knobs, gas pumps, credit card machines/ atms, etc.
6. Try to have hand sanitizer in your bag or your car.
7. Cover your cough or sneeze! Cough or sneeze into a tissue (or your elbow) and then wash or sanitize hands.
8. Eliminate or limit added sugar from your diet.
9. If you smoke, stop smoking, or at least reduce the amount you smoke.
10. Reduce or eliminate alcohol from your diet.
12. Avoid sharing utensils and beverages with others.
13. If you are sick, stay home!
14. Sleep 7-9 hours per night.
15. Relax, breathe, and make the best of everyday.

The following can help to boost your immune system, but be sure to talk to your doctor before doing any of the following:

Drink 64-96 oz of water per day.
Vitamin D3 - 10,000 IU per day with food for two weeks and then decrease to 5,000 IU per day.
NAC (n-acetyl cystine) - 600mg twice per day.
Eat raw garlic! (Warning: Will affect breath)

We got some new products in the office. Tiger balm is a great chinese topical formula to combat pain. It works very will in combination with acupuncture, cupping, and gua sha. We offer lots of different non opioid options for pain relief at raven wellness center, don't feel stuck with limited options offered by conventional medicine.

A cloudy rainy day in the valley makes for a great time to remind everyone about the importance of vitamin D. Even here where it is sunny 300 days of the year people are still vitamin D deficient. The reason is typically 2 fold. When it's hot and sunny we tend not to go outside much, and of we do we wear sun screen and spf protection blocks vitamin D production.
