Residents have many opportunities to participate in a variety of life-enriching activities and events designed to stimulate the mind, body and soul; from word games, art activities, and book clubs, to our signature Wise & Well program.

Today’s Cottage Week Dimension: Engagement 🫶

We focused on the little things that make a big difference—like our signature Refresh Program. 🌿 Our Cottage residents know the routine well, so we decided to share the experience with our Assisted Living residents too.

They enjoyed warm hand towels infused with calming essential oils, offering a soothing moment of comfort and relaxation. 🧖‍♀️✨

“This is so nice, can we do this every day?” shared one of our Assisted Living residents with a smile. 😊

We wrap up the final day of Cottage Week Part 2, we highlighted one of our favorite experiences—dining. Our residents enjoyed an elevated cottage-style meal that was both nutritious and delicious. 🍽️💛

We started with fresh watermelon cubes topped with basil and crumbled feta—a refreshing and hydrating starter, perfect for these warm summer days. 🍉🌿

For the main course, we served Cottage Chicken Pasta, packed with colorful vegetables to support immunity and reduce inflammation. The dish was made with coconut oil to promote brain and heart health, and farfalle pasta, ideal for residents who prefer easy-to-handle finger foods. 🥦🍝

To end the meal on a sweet note, we offered lemon sorbet, followed by a cooking demo of plantain waffles—a light, flavorful finish to a beautiful week. 🍋🧇

We’ve loved sharing each special moment with you throughout Cottage Week. Thank you for following along and celebrating with us!
