Communication is more than words—it’s connection. And connection deserves celebration every time. 🦁💛

Saying “Use your words” assumes kids have the words ready to go — but many don’t (yet).

And for kids with different communication styles, this phrase can add stress instead of support.

Instead:
✨ Model language for them (“You’re pointing to juice — you want juice!”)
✨ Accept all communication (gestures, signs, AAC)
✨ Give space for processing

Language grows strongest when kids feel safe, not pressured. 🫶🏾
