We provide orthodontic treatment (metal and clear braces and Invisalign) for Apex, Cary, Holly Springs and the surrounding triangle area of NC for children, teens and adults. Dr. Altherr has been in practice since 2002 in Apex, and is a graduate of UNC, board certified in orthodontics and a certified Invisalign provider.

Happy Memorial Day! We often take for granted a day like today and possibly look at it solely as a day off from work. However, there are those who served like Dr. Altherr's father in the 82nd Airborne (in picture at the 82nd Airborne Museum in Fayetteville several years ago) who helped defend all of the rights and freedoms we have in our country to this day.

Happy Mother's Day to all Moms out there! This is a picture of Dr. Altherr's mom with her granddaughters playing the piano, which is one of Dr. A's favorite memories of his mother who passed away several years ago. According to Dr. Altherr, his mother was a fantastic piano player, and could read and play sheet music as well.
