❄️Graduate school didn’t cover:
• Southern snowstorms
• Emergency snow shoveling
• Making leadership decisions in boots
• How often “flexibility” would be the real job

If today meant rescheduling, telehealth, adjusting expectations, or simply doing the best you could—
that counts.

❄️Stay safe and warm!

Today we honor Dr. King and his legacy 🤍

This is a reminder that progress isn’t about perfection.
Progress requires persistence and compassion.

At P*P, we remind you that small steps count. Especially on the hard days. Be gentle with yourself as you keep going.

As the year closes, many of us default to self-evaluation. Or wondering if we did enough and how we can improve.
This is your reminder: reflection doesn’t require self-criticism.
Notice what supported you.
Acknowledge what drained you.
Release what no longer needs to come with you.
That’s enough. 🤍

The holidays can shake up even the most grounded families. More noise, more plans, more expectations — and often less rest 😴

If you’re feeling stretched thin, you’re not doing anything wrong.

Sometimes the most supportive thing we can offer ourselves (and our kids) is permission.

Permission to slow down.
Permission to simplify.
Permission to choose presence over perfection.

✨ Permission is support.

Save this for the days that feel like too much 🤍

Wishing light, warmth, and renewal to all who celebrate 🕎

Hanukkah reminds us that even small sparks can sustain us through long nights.

May this season bring:
• connection with loved ones
• joy shared in community
• light that lasts beyond the candles

Happy Hanukkah from all of us at P*P ✨️

There’s nothing quite like a small-town Christmas parade to remind us of the magic of community. ✨🎄

Our P*P team loved being out in Apex tonight—watching the lights, the snowmen, the floats, and all the joy that brings our town together during the Apex Rotary Parade. These moments of connection are what this season is all about.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another, celebrates together, and creates memories for families ❤️

Wishing everyone a warm, bright, connected start to the holiday season. ❤️💫

The holiday season is filled with beauty and stress. So here are a few small, intentional moments (inspired by this porch scene) to carry with you today:

✨ Stand on the porch for 10 seconds before walking in — inhale the day, exhale the rush
✨ Plug in one string of lights that makes you smile
✨ Sit beside your person (or pup) for one minute with no agenda but presence

Self-care isn’t found in the big gestures — it lives in the tiny pauses!
