I am looking for a PRN / part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join my dedicated team! You’ll be at the heart of my mission to deliver top-notch care to children in our local community!

What I'm Looking For:

* Autonomous Practice License (or willingness to obtain)�
* Experience in pediatric primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings is required�
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful rapport with patients and families�
* Proximity to Apollo Beach: You must live in or near Apollo Beach and be able to commute within 30 minutes of Waterset�
* You must have access to a laptop with a processor of at least 2 GHz�
* A commitment to providing excellent, compassionate care to children in our community�

LOTS OF POSITIVE strep tests and bacterial tonsillitis in South Hillsborough this week!

How to prevent spread:
- Avoid sharing food, drink, and utensils with others (WE LOVE SHARING, just not things that go in our mouth :))
- Teach your kids to cough/sneeze into their inner elbow or upper arm sleeve when a tissue is not immediately available
- Teach and utilize good hand washing hygiene (many fun songs are available online that can be taught to kids to ensure they are scrubbing correctly and for the correct length of time)

"Strep throat" is common and thankfully easily treated with antibiotics. This is not one to "watch and wait" or hold off treating though! Without treatment, strep can lead to a very serious illness called Rheumatic Fever and can cause permanent damage to the heart.
