✨ Glamorous Grandma Day ✨

We’ve done many incredible events and activities, but this one may just take the cake. The joy on their faces, the way they lit up seeing themselves in the mirror—it was truly special.

From soft makeup touches to sparkly tiaras, pink feather boas, and finishing with an elegant tea party filled with dainty treats… it was nothing short of magical.

These beautiful women deserve to feel celebrated, seen, and absolutely glamorous—and today, they did. 💖👑🍰

What a butter-ly wonderful day! 🧈🎹

We started our morning with the ever-talented Joe on the piano — always a fan favorite around here. The music filled the room and hearts alike! 🎶💕

Then this afternoon, we got moving with a hands-on (and arms!) activity — we made homemade butter the old-fashioned way! Shake, shake, shake that heavy cream in mason jars until it separated into fresh butter and buttermilk. We added a touch of cinnamon and spread it on raisin bread… absolutely delicious and such a sweet reward for our efforts! 🍞✨

It’s the simple joys that bring the biggest smiles. 💛

What a fun and busy end to the week! 🥔🎉

Our Baked Potato Bar was a delicious hit—topped with all the fixings, from broccoli to pulled pork to steak—because we like our veggies and our protein! 💪

Then it was time for a little pampering—nails and hair for our lovely ladies. Lillian even relaxed so much she snuck in a snooze. 😴💅💇‍♀️

We wrapped up the day with some friendly competition at afternoon Bingo! We sure know how to mix comfort, care, and a good time around here. ❤️

🦋 Much excitement today as our friend The Butterfly Lady joined us for another fascinating afternoon—this time with a twist! 🐦 Instead of wings and flutter, we learned all about “Large Birds”… you know, the ones that don’t fly! From ostriches to emus, our residents (and staff!) were captivated by the facts and fun.

👏 A big round of applause to our trivia champs—Jeanne, Lois, and Lillian. 🎉

Though Becky is currently away from the community, we couldn’t let this beautiful milestone pass without celebrating the love you both share. Your devotion, stories, and the legacy of your marriage continue to inspire us all.

We celebrated National Sugar Cookie Day the best way we know how—by rolling, cutting, baking, and decorating our own sweet creations.
