With Florida giving us our “one week of winter”, we’ll be enjoying indoor comforts, warm meals, favorite activities, and plenty of together time. From cozy corners to familiar routines, home is the best place to be when the temperatures dip. ❄️☕

Birthdays are my favorite, and there was no way I was missing Sunday to celebrate this very special lady.

From the very first day Madelyn and I walked into her home for her assessment, she captured our hearts. Two years later, she is truly family. We love you so much and hope you had the most wonderful celebration surrounded by those who love you.

This month we learned all about camels—and it was fascinating to hear about the extreme costs associated with making coats or sweaters from the fur of certain species.

Education, curiosity, and great conversation all around. And trivia winner was Ruth. She got such a cute llama in pajamas!

Welcome home, Sylvia. 💕

Move-in day is more than unloading boxes—it’s the start of a new chapter. Transitions are critical, especially in memory care, not only for our residents but for the families placing their trust in us.

Today, alongside our regular care team, my assistant was present for the physical move-in to ensure Sylvia and her loved ones felt supported and reassured. After family left, I spent time walking Sylvia through the community, introducing her to new friends, and helping her feel comfortable in her new home—then could confidently update her family.

First impressions last. And when her daughter said,
“Thank you for sharing all this with me. I needed it.” ❤️
we were reminded why these moments matter so much.
