SELEA Scholarships Memorial 5K Run/Walk Waynedale Local Education Association (WLEA) Memorial Scholarships. Sue Momchilov/ April Petroshus

All proceeds of the Scholarships Memorial 5K/Walk will go towards
the Suzanne V. Momchilov WLEA Scholarship and the April D Petroshus WLEA Scholarship. Suzanne V Momchilov Scholarship will be awarded to Waynedale HS Senior who is planning a career in teaching. She was a remarkable educator and advocate for children – ever giving of herself. This scholarship is a way for those who participate to keep her legacy alive and provide opportunities for young educators to follow in Sue's footsteps. The April D Petroshus Scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female High School Senior that will continue their education. Applications for the scholarships will be available in March of each year.

We hope everyone had a great summer. We are planning on having the 5k Run and Memorial Walk on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in front of the Holmesville Elementary School. The Prairie Twp. Fire Department will again be assisting our event. Registration will be online via Google Docs. We will accept cash, check or Paypal. Registration will open at 7:30am with the run and memorial walk beginning at 8:30am.
$25 for 5K run or the 1 mile Memorial Walk. $10 student runner 5K and $10 for the Kids Color Course. The color course will be at 9:45 am behind the school and a white t shirt is included with registration. We hope to see everyone soon. Registration link provided

It is sad to report to you that we will NOT have the Sue Momchilov 5K, walk and kids color run this year. We will plan to have a great event for you next year. Thanks for supporting our Senior Scholarship fundraiser. Look for more details on how you can still support us. Thanks
